This section of the site discusses CSS and how it can be used to enhance a website. CSS has come a long way since it's first incarnation and can now be used to completely replace a table driven site design. It is not wihtout it's pitfalls though. Certain arrangements are unnecessarly difficult with CSS such as producing side by side boxes of content. Also, there are no completely clean ways of producing a standard header, three column and footer layout - they all rely on some little quirk or trick. Hopefully these smallish problems will be fixed with the release of CSS3. The only problem then will be trying to get Mircosoft to produce a browser that actually implements a useful portion of the specification.
