This section of the Debian Manual is all about backing up your Debian system. Backups are an important part of running a computer system as the failure of one component can bring a whole system to its knees and loose all your data.

As always if you see any mistakes drop me (doozer) a line and I will get on an update the page. This is equally true if there is any information that is out of date.
