For the most part printing seems to work out of the box which is useful because finding out how to fix problems is nearly impossible. I forgot to take notes when I set up my CUPS server but I do remember it being quite easy. Below are some problems I have had since setting the system up and solutions.

Problems

Washed out Colour or Very Little Colour

This one had me scratching my head for a bit. For some reason the default colour saturation level of 100 was far to low and left me with colours that were almost invisible. Cranking it right up fixed it but I am not sure why the default is so low. The setting can be found by opening the KDE Printing Manager. Select the printer that is playing up and then the instances tab. Click the settings button and then select the Colour tab. Turn up the saturation.
