JSP is one of the most mature and widely used page generation technologies around. This site is generated using JSP as are many others. It provides a great deal of flexability but that comes at the price of complexity. Simple pages are simple but moderatly complex pages are complex. This section of the site isn't designed to be a tutorial on JSP. That has been done by others - what it hopes to do is provide examples of how to perform common tasks in JSP and show you some of the pitfalls with using this technology.
