The search results show you the titles of the references found during the search. The results are ordered by rank. A reference scores one point for each criteria it matched in the search. For instance if you stated that :
- Title contains oxygen
- Author surname is Smith
- Journal begins with Chemistry
The maximum score a reference could get would be 3 because it matched every criteria. Although 3 may seem a low score it would be rare for more than a hand full of references to score 3 in this situation.
