The first load of paper work has arrived from the solicitors today. There’s the usual two flattened dead trees worth of paper to trawl through. We have decided not to send off the cheque for the searches on Dean Croft until after we have had the survey done on the place. There is no point in committing money if we aren’t sure the place is alright. We’ve decided to take this weekend off as we are both fed up with buying and selling houses. There’s a town fare in Droitwich this weekend so we are going to go to that.

We noticed that the solicitor calls the house Dean Croft where as on the details it’s Deancroft. Personally I think it’s probably the former as it says what the house does or at least did. I’ll need to investigate that when I look into the history of the house.
