At last. Hazel has spoken to the surveyor and told them what we would like looked at. They will do a survey of the rest of the property while they are at it. The whole thing is going to cost £880 which is great value for money considering what we are getting done. I am still concerned that the purlin will not be looked at in the way that I would like. I would really liked to have been there when the surveyor was there so that I could talk to him and find out exactly what would need to be done to fix the place up. Looks like that isn’t going to happen though.

We still haven’t had our quote though from the mortgage company. Turns out they sent it to the wrong address. I had expected it to arrive here today though. Until the survey is done though there isn’t much more we can do really. I’m expecting the paper work for the sale to be complete in the near future so we will probably have to be out of their fairly soon.
