Our first night went really well. Even though it was freezing cold outside under the covers it was lovely and warm. So warm in fact neither of us wanted to get out of bed into the cold. There wasn't much danger of getting any more sleep though as we had no curtains and a huge window. Around 8:30 Fraggle headed off to work and I settled in for a day of programming on the sofa. Fraggle was really excited about the prospect of being able to walk to work again and I was looking forward to having some peace and quiet working from home.

While I got a lot of work done during the day I started to get a little chilly around lunch time so I decided to do some more physically demanding work like sweeping. I swept the cellar floor again and started to move some of the wood down into the cellar. A couple of pieces of wood in my collection had worm so I had to check a lot of the pieces before throwing them down into the cellar. I'm not convinced that I managed to get all the infected wood out of the collection so I'm going to have to turn that lot up quickly. Stacking the wood was a back breaking job but it did get me nice and warm.
