Thought it might be a bit of fun to put up a Christmas list (well a list of things I would like). This is mainly for the benefit of friends and family who always ask me what I would like for Christmas or birthdays and always get back the standard "I don't know" response. While I don't actually expect anyone will if you are reading this page and fancy buying me something I would be most grateful.

Hopefully Realistic Things (At Least One Day)

• Some different species of wood. Bowl blanks are easy to get hold of but you have to order well in advance - a mixed bag of English woods would be nice.
• A pair of happy socks.
• Thomas Hardy books. The Return of the Native, A Pair of Blue Eyes, Wessex Tales,  Life's Little Ironies,  The Trumpet Major: A Tale, The Withered Arm and Other Stories, Two on a Tower: A Romance
• House in France with enough space for a decent workshop.
• Big bandsaw.
• Table saw - sliding with integral scribing saw.
• The Mythical Man Month by F.P.Brooks
• Mortise and tennon jig (Example at Tooled Up)
• Router table.
• Shop wide dust extraction to 0.2 micron.
• Walk The Line - Film of the life of Jonny Cash.
