- My partner and I were watching and episode of Star Gate SG 1 when a scene came up that had a memeber SG 1, Teal'c hanging from a rope in what was essentially a cave. There was no way to see outside as the cave was effectivly a bubble underground. The Teal'c needed to dig up to the surface in order to get air which left me with a great opportunity to say something silly. Without any assistance from anyone I managed to come out with "but how would he know which way is up". Thinking that I had found yet another mistake in the physics used in Star Gate I was very proud of myself untill 2 seconds later when my partner said gravity. It's always the little things that catch you out.
I was talking to Doozer about a pizza and what we should have on top when I misheard something he said. For some reason I then said "I thought you said cheese but you actually said cheese".
While talking abou the size of our kitchen measuring jug I came out with the classic "It's not a pint jug it's a pint jug". I meant "It's a litre just not a pint jug", of course.
While playing a game of AOM I uttered the classic line "I must have hit the shortcut for delete" - which would be, erm, the delete key perhaps?
