For a while now I've been gaining a little weight. It's taken a fair few years but my weight has slowly crept up to about 93.5kg. That would be fine if I was about 40cm taller than I am but I don't see me growing any time soon. The worst part was that I could feel that I was starting to suffer from carrying extra weight. The amount of exercise I was doing was dropping and I was generally becoming lazy and flabby. Long term, carrying as much extra weight as I was (about 14kg) is a substantial health risk. I don't drink to excess and I don't smoke so it seems pretty silly to die of heart disease because I eaten too much. These pages detail my efforts to lose weight and hopefully provide a novel approach to dieting that can help others.
