;

Well it's been a long time since I made an entry in this journal. Hopefully I will be able to go back over the photos of pieces I have made since January (the last time I made a entry) and fill in the blanks. May was a very quite month on the turning front. In fact I don't think I turned a single piece. The lack of turning wasn't for a lack of desire to turn it was mostly due to a lack of time and then a lack of work shop. My partner, Fraggle, was offered a new job up in Gloucester so we are moving house. We couldn't realistically sell the house with a lathe in the dining room so the workshop had to be dismantled and packed away with the promise that putting the workshop back together in the new place will be one of the top priorities.

I am particularly upset by the dismantling of my workshop because it means there is a very good chance that I won't be able to enter the Woodturning Magazine competition this year. I racked by brains for about three weeks solid to come up with an idea for this years entry. Oh well, hopefully the move will be a quick and painless one and I will be able to get back to turning. It's been about 5 weeks now (I think) since I last turned and about 2 weeks since I was last able to do some DIY. I'm getting very restless!

Next months entry will, I am sure, be just as short as this one. Sigh.
